SRS TRACK AND FIELD REGISTRATIONS (cont.)
The Track and Field program is open to boys and girls ages
7–18 years old as of December 31, 2012. Registrations will
not be taken the first night of practice. The Registration
Deadline is April 16; after that there will be a $10.00 late
fee.
This year, we are changing the program a little. We are
combining our track program with the Northwood track program
and we will be one team, called the “NH Thunder.”
Practices will be on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30– 7:00
pm with five track meets throughout the season. Practices
are held at the Coe Brown Northwood Academy Track. Three of
the meets will be held at Coe Brown and the other two will
be held in Amherst and Milford.
The track program will be USATF certified. This is a great
opportunity to participate in any and all track and field
events you may be interested in, such as shotput, javelin,
high jump, long jump, running events, and hurdles. We are
looking for interested parent volunteers to help with
measuring, timing and supervising the different age groups.
No experience is necessary.
We are excited to continue the strong tradition of Strafford
Track and Field. Our emphasis is completely on fun and
participation. We are looking forward to a great year.
