Mike Bronnenberg will
be pursuing a degree in X-Ray Technology at the New
Hampshire Technical Institute. He has been taking
prerequisite courses at the Institute for the past two years
where he has maintained a 3.6 grade point average. Mike has
been working at Osborne's Agway to save money for the
program and where he spends the spring and summers caring
for plants. Mike worked for a summer as a marketing intern
at Pleasant View Gardens planting the show gardens. Mike
says that he has spent a fair share of his time in the woods
and knows first hand about forest management. He also enjoys
time in the woods running, hiking, and snowmobiling.
Emma Heald is a
student a Otterbein College majoring in equine health
technology. She has a 3.8 grade point average. In her words,
Emma is extremely excited about her school's new state of
the art equine facility. She hopes to find a position in an
equine hospital treating show horses. As part of her
curriculum, she is learning about sound pasture and water
quality management. She feels that learning about
environmentally sound practices along with preserving green
space is helping her to become a more well-rounded person.
Tyler Patrick is a
current student at Coe-Brown Northwood Acadamy where he has
a 4.0 grade point average. Tyler has been accepted by two
universities at this point, but has not as yet made up his
mind. Tyler has been a class leader all four years and holds
many honors. He has done volunteer work in the community and
has gathered data for the Appalachian Mountain Club's Ozone
Detection Project. He worked as First Mate on the M/V Thomas
Laighton and spent time as a landscaper and house painter.
In his free time, Tyler has been hiking the 48 four thousand
footers of the White Mountains. |
