The George N. Cate Scholarship Fund (continued)

The George N. Cate Scholarship Fund was established in 1986 by the Trustees of Austin Cate Academy to provide scholarship assistance to students who have resided in Strafford for two or more years and who are attending any accredited, post secondary institution. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, character, extra-curricular activities, and financial needs. Since 1986, the Fund has provided over $420,000 in scholarships to Strafford students - few towns our size are as fortunate.

The Cate Scholarship Fund is a component of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. If you would like to help us grow to continue to fund the ever increasing costs of education, please consider a tax deductible contribution. If you received help in the past or know someone who has, a contribution now will help some new student in the near future to meet his or her goals.
